CITY OF LA CENTER, WASHINGTON NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING Adoption of Ordinance 2026-08 Larsen Annexation Parcel and Rezone for Parcel 209709000 The La Center Planning Commission and City Council will conduct (2) public hearings for the purpose of adopting Ordinance 2026-08 Larsen annexation and rezone. The hearings will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 beginning at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, May 13, 2026 beginning at 6:30 PM. The City has modified the hearing and public testimony procedures to meet the Hybrid Meeting requirements. The hearing will be conducted in-person at 210 E 4th Street La Center, WA 98629 and online via GoToMeeting (a video conferencing service). Participants do not need internet access and can connect by phone. The public is encouraged to provide written or oral testimony. Remote Hearing Attendance and Public Testimony: 1. Attending remotely and giving oral testimony. You can attend the hearings remotely and provide testimony by connecting to the hearings via phone or computer on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 beginning at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, May 13, 2026 beginning at 6:30 PM. Submitting written testimony. Testimony supplied via e-mail or in writing must be received by City Hall by 4:00 PM on May 12, 2026 (Planning Commission Meeting) and May 13, 2026 (City Council Meeting). a. Submitting via email.
