Notice is hereby given the City of Ridgefield, Washington, will receive base Bids for the Ridgefield Community and Recreation Center project no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on 4/1/2026. Bidders will have the option of submitting their packets online via the Citys e-Procurement Portal hosted by OpenGov Procurement, by hand delivery, or United States Postal Service. If choosing to submit online, electronic sealed bids must be received by the City through the Citys eProcurement Portal located at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ridgefieldwa. This is the preferred method. If the electronic submission process is not an option, the City will also accept hand delivered or mailed bids that shall be placed in a sealed envelope which clearly states the name of the bidder, the date of the bid opening, and the title Ridgefield Community and Recreation Center. Hand delivered bids shall be delivered to Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center (RACC) building, 510 Pioneer Street, Suite B, Ridgefield, Washington 98642. Bids delivered via United States Postal Service shall be enclosed in another envelope that is addressed to the attention of the Procurement Coordinator, City of Ridgefield, P.O. Box 608, Ridgefield, Washington 98642. Mail to the City of Ridgefield is received by 10:00 a.m. each day. The Bids will be opened and read aloud, immediately after the closing time for their receipt, at which time all interested persons are entitled to attend the Bid opening. B. The base Bids and any alternate Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after Bid closing. All interested persons are entitled to attend the Bid opening. Bid opening will be held in the Columbia Assembly Room (CAR) conference room located in the RACC building and will be held virtually for interested parties who are unable to attend in-person. C. Bids will be received as follows: General Contractor to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, materials for consisting primarily of the construction of: Community and Recreation Center: Construction of approximately 43,000 s.f. two-story building comprised of a fire-wall-separated Recreation Center and Community Center, set on a lot-line adjusted site. The Recreation portion of the building (34,500 s.f.) will contain a gymnasium with elevated track, natatorium with a lap pool and recreation pool, locker rooms, fitness center/studios, and reception/administrative areas. The Community Center portion (8,500 s.f.) will contain multipurposes spaces, teen center/classrooms, commercial kitchen, child-watch area and community spaces. The site will include parking, landscaping, trails, and other outdoor natural areas. Base bid also includes associated site and utility improvements.
