INVITATION TO BID ITB 26-13: West Vancouver Phase 1 Sanitary Sewer Improvements - Alki Rd Water Main Replacement Notice is hereby given that the City of Vancouver, Washington, will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Local Time, March 3, 2026 and will publicly open and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Vancouver City Hall, 415 W 6th St, Vancouver, Washington, for the following: The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 3,600 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main and 1,700 linear feet of 2-inch pressure sewer main. The sewer will be installed in various locations within and outside of City of Vancouver city limits and will include laterals, manholes, and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specifications herein. The Contractor shall furnish and install; approximately 372 feet of 8 and 6-inch diameter ductile iron water main with associated fire hydrants, valves, appurtenances, fittings and pavement restoration; All work shall be as shown on the Plans and as specified herein. The Contractor shall restore the pavement where pipe trenching takes place as specified herein. Sections of Markle Avenue, NW Harney Street and the alleyway between C & D Streets will be planed and paved to the limits as shown on the plans and specifications herein. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 100 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
