INVITATION TO BID CITY OF LA CENTER Sealed bids will be received by the (City of La Center), at the reception desk located in City Hall at 210 E. 4th Street in La Center, Washington until 3:00 p.m. on February 19, 2026 and will then and there be opened and publicly read for the construction of the improvement(s). All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the (City of La Center). The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of La Center, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid. No bidders may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening thereof unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding one-hundred twenty (120) calendar days.
