ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WOODLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REPLACEMENT WOODLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Woodland School District will receive sealed bids for the total replacement of the Fire Alarm System at Woodland Middle School, located at 755 Park Street, Woodland, WA 98674. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes the design, engineering, removal of existing equipment, and installation of a new, non-proprietary, addressable fire alarm control panel and all peripheral devices. This is a total system replacement. Please note: Equipment or services from Simplex or Johnson Controls will not be accepted. PREVAILING WAGE: This project is a public work subject to Washington State prevailing wage requirements per RCW 39.12. MANDATORY SITE VISIT: A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on April 6, 2026 at 9AM. Bidders shall meet at the Woodland Middle School Main Office. Bids will not be accepted from any contractor who did not attend this mandatory walkthrough. BID SUBMISSION: Sealed bids must be received by the Woodland School District Office no later than May 1, 2026 at Woodland Public Schools 800 2nd Street, Woodland WA 98674. Bids must be clearly marked: SEALED BID: Woodland Middle School Fire Alarm Replacement. Bids received after the date and time stated above will not be considered. BID SECURITY: Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond made payable to the Woodland School District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. RIGHT TO REJECT: The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
