INVITATION TO BID ITB 25-27: E 18th Street Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation Notice is hereby given that the City of Vancouver, Washington, will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Local Time, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 and will publicly open and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Vancouver City Hall, 415 W 6th St, Vancouver, Washington, for the following: The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 3763 lineal feet of 27-inch and 1980 lineal feet of 30-inch Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) to rehabilitate existing sanitary sewer mains. The CIPP is to be designed for fully deteriorated gravity flow conditions. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to rehabilitate the existing sewer mains with either steam cured or ultra violet (UV) cured CIPP. This work will also include customer notification, bypass pumping, cleaning, root and sediment removal, initial Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection and assessment, CIPP installation and testing, reinstatement of all laterals, testing, and final CCTV inspection and other work, all in accordance with the attached Plan Set, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications, hereinafter referred to as Work. Work will also consist of epoxy or polyurethane lining of 18 manholes of various depths for corrosion prevention in conjunction with the proposed CIPP lining. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 40 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
