INVITATION TO BID ITB 25-01: Simpson & Thompson (S&T) Subbasins Retrofits Notice is hereby given that the City of Vancouver, Washington, will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Local Time, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 and will publicly open and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Vancouver City Hall, 415 W 6th St, Vancouver, Washington, for the following: The Contractor shall furnish and install storm pipe, perforated storm pipe, asphalt restoration and all other work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and specified herein. Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 570 LF of infiltration trench with 12-inch perforated CPEP pipe, 1360 LF of 12-inch solid CPEP stormwater pipe, 290 LF of 12-inch C900 stormwater pipe, 370 LF of 8-inch C900 stormwater pipe, 20 filter cartridge catch basins, 12 storm manholes, 4 pre-sedimentation manholes and 14 standard drywells within the right-of-way. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 90 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to this contract or any subcontract. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
