CITY OF VANCOUVER First Reading on Consent Meeting Date 01/06/25 Meeting Start Time 6:30pm CONDEMNATION OF REAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OVER 5411 E MILL PLAIN BLVD AN ORDINANCE in the public interest relating to redevelopment of the Heights District, transportation and streets and sidewalks, public plazas, public markets and associated public uses; declaring the public necessity for and providing for the acquisition by the City of Vancouver by eminent domain of a portion of a parking easement across real property located at 5411 E Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA for the purposes of constructing public street improvements, public plazas, and other redevelopment within the City of Vancouver, Washington. This proceeding is subject to the notice requirements of RCW 8.12.005 and notice is published in compliance with RCW 8.25.290. In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA), the Vancouver City Council meeting will be open to in-person attendance. Options for viewing and/or participating in the meeting remotely will also be accommodated (see details below). The City Council will be attending this meeting in person. Public comment will be accepted regarding any matter on the agenda below. Advance registration will be required (see details below).
