INVITATION TO BID ITB # 24-49: W 4th Plan (BNSF XING) Water Transmission Main Notice is hereby given that the City of Vancouver, Washington, will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Local Time, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 and will publicly open and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Vancouver City Hall, 415 W 6th St, Vancouver, Washington, for the following: The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 2,700 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron water main along with valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Work includes jacking and boring a 36-inch steel casing under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railyard. All new pipe and fittings to be installed with restrained joints. All Work shall be completed as shown on the Plans and as specified herein. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 65 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
