Battle Ground School District #119 Central Operations Building Project, #24-043 New Construction Bid Date: June 11, 2024 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Bids Due: 2:00 p.m., June 11, 2024 Bids Open: Shortly after 2:00 p.m. June 11, 2024 Sealed bids will be received by the Battle Ground School District #119 up to, but no later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 11th of June, 2024, in the 450 Modular Building, 300 W. Main Street, Battle Ground, WA 98604 for: Central Operations Building New Construction Briefly, the scope of work includes: New 30,000 SF pre-engineered metal building that will house several functions within the Operations department of Battle Ground Public Schools. Work to include some sitework for grading and utilities, erection of a new metal building system, and finished building interiors. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud shortly after 2:00 p.m. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond with a State-licensed surety, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, made payable to the Battle Ground School District. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond, including Washington State sales tax. Such bonds shall be furnished by a surety company acceptable to Owner. The Battle Ground School District shall have the right to accept the lowest responsive bid from a statutorily responsible bidder, provided the bid has been submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Bidding Documents and does not exceed the funds available. The Owner shall have the right to waive informalities on a bid or bids and to accept (bid(s), which, in the Owners judgment is in the Districts best interest. The Battle Ground School District shall have the right to reject any and all bids for the project. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on May 22, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Site of the proposed Central Operations Building, 400 N. Parkway Avenue, Battle Ground, Washington. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend but attendance is not required. Bid documents, bidders list, and plan holders list for this project will be available by May 21, 2024.
