CITY OF RIDGEFIELD, WASHINGTON PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CANCELLED: Ordinance Amending Fireworks Regulation The Ridgefield City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meeting access information will be available on the City website prior to the hearing: https://ridgefieldwa.us/government/city-departments/city-council/. The City of Ridgefield invites public comment on the proposed ordinance. Comments and testimony: The City of Ridgefield invites public comment on the proposed ordinance regulating fireworks sale and discharge. Written testimony should be mailed to the City Clerk, PO Box 608, Ridgefield, WA 98642 or emailed to cityclerk@ridgefieldwa.us no later than 3:00 p.m. on June 11, 2026. Proposal: An ordinance amending the regulation of fireworks to prohibit the sale and discharge of mortar type consumer fireworks.
