Bruno and Abby Lost their Lifelong Home UPDATE: On Jan. 05, 2022 the Oregon Humane Society kindly spayed Abby and neutered Bruno waiving fees. Columbian readers spontaneously volunteered to pay January board fees at the Yamhill boarding kennel, allowing them a safe space to recover. They are doing very well and have no behavior challenges. Both still remain homeless and their family remains homeless too and is unlikely to be able to take them back. Bruno, 69 lb, 6 Year old tan & white American Pit bull mix and his devoted partner Abby, 57 lb 3- year old tan American pit bull mix lost their their lifelong home in November when their family fell upon hard times and could not take them with them. Devoted to each other, Bruno is confident and easy going; Abby depends upon him and is a true nanny dog, loyal, caring about everyone: strangers, family, and children alike. Both get along with most dogs, history with cats unknown, but will likely chase. Current on vaccines. Although bonded they can be placed separately. Seeking fosters or foster to adopt.
