INVITATION TO BID ITB #21-33 TREE PRUNING AND REMOVAL RE-BID Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Vancouver, Washington, for ITB #21-33: Tree Pruning and Removal - Re-Bid bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Local Time, November 2, 2021 and will publicly open and read aloud at that time on the same day via an online platform. The Contractor shall perform professional tree pruning and/or removal of trees designated by the City on an as needed basis and providing all equipment, labor, cleanup, disposal of debris and supplies needed to complete the specified work. The City intends to award this contract for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend up to three (3) additional years. The City of Vancouver, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises, as defined in 49 CFR part 26, will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
