BID RELEASE #3 WyEast Middle School Evergreen Public School September 9, 2020 and September 16, 2020 Bids for the selected Bid Packages described below for the WyEast Middle School project will be accepted through Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2:00pm by Todd Construction, acting as the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for Evergreen Public Schools. Bids must be submitted in writing. Bids are being accepted by Todd Construction in this Bid Release for the following Bid Packages: Bid Package #29 Damproofing, Waterproofing & Joint Sealant Bid Package #30 Coiling Doors Bid Package #31 Door Package Bid Package #32 Door Installation Bid Package #33 Visual Display Boards Bid Package #34 Folding Partitions Bid Package #35 Gym Equipment & Lockers Bid Package #36 Toilet Compartments Bid Package #37 Signage Bid Package #38 Stage Curtains Bid Package #39 Elevators Bid Package #40 Asphalt Paving Bid Package #41 Pavement Markings Bid Package #42 Final Cleaning Todd Construction intends to submit a bid on Bid Package #39. Bids are to be submitted prior to the bid deadline as further described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids for these packages will then be opened and read aloud by the GC/CM and Owner beginning at 2:30pm. The bid opening can be viewed remotely as further described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a replacement school for the existing WyEast Middle School located at the same address, which will be demolished after completion of the new building. The general scope is the construction of a new 2-story 119,000 SF building, and renovation of the existing 15,000 SF Gymnasium. Pending building permits, construction is expected to begin in November/December 2020, with Substantial Completion of the new building in April 2022, and Substantial Completion of all work in November 2022. Questions pertaining to the plans and specifications or general construction items shall be addressed via email to Russ Kaufman (rkaufman@toddconstruction.com). Bidders may request a link to obtain drawings and specifications on or after September 9, 2020 from Kalai Lemke (klemke@toddconstruction.com). A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 18 at WyEast Middle School, 1112 SE 136th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98683. Social distancing rules will be in effect. Per RCW 39.10.380, all subcontractor bids in excess of $300,000 shall be accompanied by a bid bond. All subcontractors who are awarded a contract over $300,000 shall provide a performance and payment bond for the contract amount. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates per the State of Washington Department of Labor & Industries. All bidders must be in compliance with all regulations and items required by law.
