NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2020 CAMAS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS The City of Camas reviews its comprehensive plan and map once a year. The proposed amendments will be brought to Planning Commission for a public hearing in August. The Commission will deliberate and forward their recommendation to City Council for a final decision. A final decision is anticipated to occur in September. The City received the following applications: -Mills Family (File #CPA20-02) Size: 57 Acres Located: NE of SE Leadbetter Road Current Designations: Multifamily (MF) & Industrial Proposed: MF-10 (35.6 ac.) MF-18 (21.02 ac.) -Lofts at Camas Meadows (File #CPA20-03) Size: 4 Acres Located: Camas Meadows Dr. Current Designation: Light Industrial/Business Park (LI/BP) Proposed: Mixed Use/Commercial Public Hearing: A virtual public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission at their next regular meeting on Tuesday, August 18th at 7:00 p.m., online using the Zoom application. Comments may be submitted in advance or during the meeting. Instructions on how to participate will be available on the agenda page of the citys website at least seven days prior to the meeting. Information: A staff report and associated application materials are available seven days in advance at the citys website at the Agenda page (http://www.cityofcamas.us/yourgovernment/minuteagendavideo). The current comprehensive plan and zoning maps are available to view online at https://www.cityofcamas.us/maps. Comment/Participate: Legislative public hearings follow the process described within Camas Municipal Code 18.55.320, with the exemptions granted through Governor Inslees emergency orders. Further information on participation in this legislative action may be obtained by contacting Community Development Department staff or reviewing Camas Municipal Code, Section 18.55.320.
